About us

Services
Ogwadeni:deo is a child welfare agency ensuring the protection of Ogweho:weh children on the Six Nations Territory, in the City of Brantford and Brant County, while incorporating Haudenosaunee culture when working with families.
A child is gifted to the people to be nurtured and cared for. Through the cycle of life, the gift is to be cared for, protected, taught and honored as sacred.

Read the story

The child is primary to all decisions made – the child is the center point for the parents, family, community and all services incorporated
(elders, faith keepers, clan mothers, teachers); all are within the same circle, this is customary to the natural way of life.

To help the child, we need to help and work with the family to find a resolution.
